From its humble beginnings to present-day, the small City of Belen, New Mexico has weathered hundreds of years of challenges and growth. Told from the perspective of some of the women who live there, “Women and the Heart of Belen” is a monumental documentary film achievement from first-time filmmaker and U.S. Air Force Veteran Tina Raven-Kingson.
There will be a public showing of this film at the Belen Public Library on March 16th from 2pm – 4pm. There will be DVDs of the film available for purchase.
