The City of Belen is accepting applications for a Laborer in our Water Department. The starting annual salary will be $35,360 – $39,520 ($17 – $19/hr) depending on water level certifications with increases for higher certifications. A full benefits package including retirement, healthcare, and more is offered to full-time employees.
Minimum Qualifications Include but are not Limited To:
- High School diploma or GED
- Valid New Mexico driver’s license
- Commercial driver’s license preferred
- Willing to obtain Water Level I/Wastewater Level I Certification within 18 months of hire
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
