Laborer – Community Maintenance Department
The City of Belen is accepting applications for a full-time Laborer in our Community Maintenance Department. The starting annual salary is $31,200 ($15/hr). A full benefits package including retirement, healthcare and more is offered to full-time employees.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid New Mexico driver’s license
- Knowledge to include use of common work tools, maintenance, and simple motor equipment
- Knowledge of safety requirements in use of: ladders, work tools, shovel, hoe, weed cutter, pick, screwdrivers, wrenches, pliers, etc., street and maintenance equipment
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check

Library Technician I/Museum Coordinator – Belen Harvey House Museum
The City of Belen is accepting applications for a full-time Library Technician I/Museum Coordinator at the Belen Harvey House Museum. The starting annual salary is $31,200 ($15/hr). A full benefits package including retirement, healthcare and more is offered to full-time employees.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid New Mexico driver’s license
- Knowledge of museum and tourism visitor operations, including exhibit and collection development and promotions
- Candidate must be available to work evenings and weekends regularly
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
