The Southwest Model Railroad Museum is excited to announce some very important upcoming dates! The date has finally arrived that we will be open to the public in our NEW location at Doodlebug Park in Belen!
Before that happens; however, we will be set up at the Los Lunas Heritage Museum for an exhibit. The address for the Los Lunas Heritage Museum is 251 Main St. SE, Los Lunas, NM (at the Water Tank). We’ll be there the following days:
*Saturday, November 26: 12:30pm – 5pm for Small Business Day
*Tuesday, November 29 – Saturday December 10 – Exhibit Hours 10am – 5pm Tuesday – Friday
*Saturday, December 4 – Extended Exhibit Hours – 12pm – 8pm
Beginning Saturday, December 15, the Southwest Model Railroad Museum will be open to the public at Doodlebug Park! Doodlebug Park is located in the historic district of Belen, with the M-190 Doodlebug Engine as a neighbor. Our hours will be Thursday and Fridays from 12:30pm – 3:30pm and Saturdays from 12:30pm – 5:00pm.
Swap Meets
We have four Swap Meets coming up that are open to the public. We’ll be selling off our excess inventory for all scales of model trains.
*December 17 – 9:00am – 5:00pm
*December 18 – 10:00am – 3:30pm
*January 14 – 9:00am – 5:00pm
*January 15 – 10:00am – 3:30pm
