Public Art Community Workshops with Paula Castillo

Imagine a cozy, green oasis right in the heart of Belen — a place where families can gather, children can play, and neighbors can connect. That’s the magic of a pocket park!

We’re excited to bring a new pocket park to our community, and we need your ideas and input to make it truly special. These charming mini-parks, often no larger than a few house lots, transform small urban spaces into vibrant public areas. They offer a breath of fresh air in our busy city life, perfect for relaxation and recreation.

Help us design a space that reflects our community’s unique spirit and needs. Whether it’s a spot for picnics, a playground for kids, or a garden to enjoy nature, your vision can help shape this new green haven.

Join our planning team and be part of this exciting project! Let’s work together to create a beautiful, welcoming space for everyone to enjoy.

The series of Public Art Community Workshops in August and September will be led by Paula Castillo.
