The Southwest Model Railroad Museum will be celebrating its Grant Opening and you are invited! The event will be held on Saturday, September 30th from 10am – 5pm with the ribbon cutting at 10am. The museum is located at 118 Second Street, Belen. You may park on Castillo.
This will be the first viewing of the new permanent HO scale layout! You will also be able to tour the Doodlebug.
This event coincides with the 2023 Rio Abajo Becker Street Festival! Other activities:
- Hot air balloon next door (weather permitting)
- Model trains and hobby items for sale
- Harvey House Sales
- Door prizes every half hour (must be present to win)
- Food trucks on Becker
