The Belen Public Library recently was awarded a grant that will help to improve accessibility in our Library for folks that need it. This includes seniors, people with disabilities, and anyone else that would benefit from having a more accessible space.
To get started, there will be a Community Meeting on October 7th at 10am at the Belen Public Library. This meeting will be a conversation to collaboratively identify what resources we already have, where there are needs or gaps in accessibility/services, and the priorities we should have moving forward.
We need your input! The more voices we hear from, the more we can tailor the Library experience to the actual needs of our community.
There will be refreshments! Please join us and bring your friends and family!
