City of Belen Offices Closed for Labor Day

In observance of Labor Day, all City of Belen offices and facilities will be closed on Monday, September 4th. We will reopen on Tuesday, September 5th. Please note – the City Council meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 5th at 6pm. Thank you and have a happy and safe Labor Day weekend!

Arcosa, Wind-Tower Manufacturer Picks Belen

This week it was announced that Belen will be the new home for expansion for the wind-tower manufacturer, Arcosa. City of Belen’s Wastewater Treatment Plant Wins Award

The City of Belen’s Wastewater Treatment Plan received the 2022 Good Housekeeping Award for Activated Sludge Treatment Plant 20 Years & Older from the New Mexico Water & Wastewater Association. The Wastewater Crew does a GREAT job on maintaining and operating a facility that is actually  41 years old. Congratulation’s on a Job Well Done!!
