The City of Belen will close all offices on Thursday, January 4th at 1pm to allow our staff to attend the funeral services of our colleague and friend, John Blake.
John was the Assistant Water Supervisor and always went above and beyond in performing his duties. He was a wonderful friend to his coworkers and will be greatly missed by all of us and especially by those who worked closely with him in our Water Department.
John is survived by his wife, Sarah and two children, Marisol and John Blake, Jr. along with his parents Wendy and Jesse Lynch, brother Matthew Lynch and his wife, Trinity; his father-in-law, Gabriel Subia, Sr. and brother-in-law, Gabrial Subia. Our deepest sympathies are with his family and loved ones.
John was known for his love of the outdoors and his loving and generous personality.
