Tracy Armijo is a Councilor for the City of Belen. She was appointed in January 2023.
Councilor Armijo has been employed with Sandia National Laboratories and is currently a Production Planning Control Specialist. She brings a unique set of skills to her role as Councilor, having worked in the private and public sectors, federal government organizations as well as in the legal field.
Councilor Armijo holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Saint Leo University and a Master of Science in Homeland Security from Colorado Technical University.
Councilor Armijo is married to Lawrence Armijo. She has four step-children and two grandchildren as well as a menagerie of pets.
Councilor Armijo is grateful for the opportunity to serve the citizens of Belen and hopes to help guide Belen to a prosperous future.
