Steven L. Holdman is a Councilor for the City of Belen. He was elected in November of 2021. Since 2020, Councilor Holdman has worked as the Administrative Pastor of Calvary Chapel Rio Grande Valley (CCRGV) in Belen, New Mexico, where he performs administrative and ministry functions. He brings a wide range of experience to his role as Councilor, having served in public, private, government and nonprofit organizations.
Prior to joining CCRGV, Councilor Holdman was Executive Vice President of NICOR, Incorporated in Albuquerque where his responsibilities included leadership roles in operations, purchasing, warehouse supervision and supporting roles to the sales, marketing, and engineering departments.
Councilor Holdman graduated from Concordia University, St. Paul located in St. Paul, Minnesota with a bachelor’s degree in Organizational Management. He also holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Eastern New Mexico University located in Portales, New Mexico.
Councilor Holdman is married to Denise Holdman, and they have three children and nine grandchildren.
